Blue Flag 2025

POZZALLO AWARDED THE 2025 BLUE FLAG
A renewed commitment to quality and sustainability
Once again this year, Pozzallo has earned the prestigious Blue Flag award, confirming the excellence of its beaches and the high quality of its sea water.
This recognition strengthens the town’s image as a sustainable and welcoming tourist destination, promoting its territory on a broader scale.
The quality path promoted this year by FEE required an even greater effort from participating municipalities, who were asked to develop specific action plans for environmental protection, sustainable resource management, and public awareness regarding respect for the sea and the local environment.
The official award ceremony was attended by Deputy Mayor Raffaele Monte, who accepted the 2025 Blue Flag—Pozzallo’s 22nd and the longest-standing in the province. He emphasized the work done by the local administration and the community in maintaining high standards of quality and sustainability.
“This recognition is the result of joint efforts by institutions, citizens, and tourism operators who continue to invest in preserving Pozzallo’s natural heritage,” said Mayor Roberto Ammatuna.
Thanks to this shared vision, Pozzallo continues to be a benchmark in the tourism landscape of south-eastern Sicily.
With its excellent restaurants, fully equipped beach clubs, and 299 registered accommodations—including guest houses, hotels, B&Bs, and holiday homes—Pozzallo is ready for a season full of experiences and opportunities for both residents and visitors.
